The SBC Call Center was an existing property which utilized a Honeywell XL5000 building automation control system. SBC was experiencing comfort problems and contracted with CTS for recommissioning of the system.

Project Overview

CTS technical staff inspected and tested the HVAC and control system making adjustments and setting modifications as necessary. Occupancy zones and schedules were established and programmed. Sensors were recalibrated and offsets were entered into the default database. Trend and alarm reporting was created. SBC also looked to CTS to identify and report any deficiencies or recommendations for improvements within the systems.

Project Results

The recommissioning of the system allowed the customer’s comfort needs to be met and brought the equipment back to its optimum operating levels. Not only was comfort returned, but energy savings were again able to be realized.
